Enrollment Office Manager

Holy Innocent's Episcopal School is seeking an Enrollment Office Manager who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and a motivated individual to join our team. HIES is the country's largest Episcopal Parish day school, offering a fully accredited college preparatory program for students aged three through 12th grade. HIES is located north of downtown Atlanta between I-75 and GA 400.

The Enrollment Office Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the admissions process, from initial inquiry through student enrollment. This position requires excellent communication, customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enrollment Support:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for prospective and current families throughout the admissions process.
  • Assist with the management and organization of student applications, ensuring all necessary documents are collected and processed.
  • Coordinate and support the scheduling of tours, interviews, and other admissions-related activities.
  • Maintain and update the school’s enrollment management system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of student data.
  • Communicate with prospective families via email, phone, and in-person meetings, providing a positive and welcoming experience throughout the enrollment process.
  • Support the planning and execution of admissions events such as open houses, information sessions, and other recruitment activities.
  • Assist with communication and event logistics, ensuring successful and engaging events.

Office Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Enrollment Office, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
  • Manage office supplies, resources, and equipment to support the Admissions team’s needs.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to ensure a seamless transition for enrolled families and students.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Commitment to privacy and confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data management software; experience with admissions software is a plus (Ravenna, Blackbaud/Expense Management).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Educational and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a school environment or office management, with preferably at least 1 year in an admissions or an enrollment-related role.
